Supply chain company SEKO Logistics recently opened offices in Uganda and Ethiopia.
The launches were led by Hubert Vermaak, SEKO’s regional director of East Africa, and were driven by strong energy, mining and technology industries in East Africa, which are core markets for SEKO, the company said in a written statement.
The new offices add to existing coverage in Libya, Egypt and South Africa, said Bob van der Putten, managing director of the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. The company is also opening offices in Morocco, Tunisia, Kenya, Tanzania, Djibouti and Zambia, as part of its aggressive African expansion strategy, he added.
