C. Walter StarrLogistics provider Samuel Shapiro & Co. has named C. Walter Starr the firm's new chief financial officer.
“We are very excited to have Walter join our family,” said Margie Shapiro, president and CEO, in a written statement. “With his wealth of experience, we look forward to both his contributions and the new perspective he will bring to our strategic discussions.”
Starr has more than 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, and management, including roles as CFO, vice president of finance, controller and director in small to midsize companies in various industries. Among others, he served as CFO and vice president of finance and administration at TBB Global Logistics, a Baltimore-based, non-asset supply chain management company.
