Thomas F. Pettit, Ryder System's new senior vice president and general manager of supply chain solutions.Transportation and supply chain management company Ryder System has appointed Thomas F. Pettit senior vice president and general manager in its supply chain solutions business segment.
In this role, Pettit is responsible for leading the operations of Ryder’s supply chain industry groups. He will report to John Williford, president of global supply chain solutions.
Pettit succeeds Thomas Jones, who has retired after 24 years with the company.
Pettit has 20 years of experience in operations and supply chain management. For the past five years, he served as vice president of global operations and supply chain for Pentair. Before that, he served as vice president of finance and operational transformation for ADC Telecommunications.
