Trucking and logistics company Roadrunner Transportation Systems today announced it will expand its less-than-truckload outbound service center in Philadelphia, which opened in June 2012.
The center provides outbound service from southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.
The expansion will further increase Roadrunner’s footprint in the Northeast. The company opened three other terminals in the past two years in the New York metro area, Baltimore and Boston.
“The expansion will enable us to meet the growing demand for outbound service in the Northeast and will facilitate our continued growth in the region,” said Scott Dobak, Roadrunner president.
