Roadrunner Transportation’s Net Income Jumps Almost 40 Percent

Trucking and logistics company Roadrunner Transportation Systems reported that its profit in the fourth quarter of 2012 increased 38.8 percent year-over-year to $9.5 million from $6.9 million.

Revenue in the fourth quarter was $295.1 million, rising 24.0 percent from $238.0 million.

Profit for the full year of 2012 was $37.5 million, jumping 45.1 percent from $25.9 million. Yearly revenue increased 27.2 percent from $842.6 million in 2011 to $1.1 billion in 2012.
