The New York-New Jersey Foreign Freight Forwarders and Brokers Association has selected Claudio Bozzo, president and CEO of Mediterranean Shipping Co., to receive the “2013 Person of the Year” award, which recognizes those who have significantly impacted the region’s global trade community.
The award, which recognizes those who have significantly impacted the region's global trade community, will be presented during the organization’s annual dinner in New York on Jan. 23.
As the largest ocean carrier in the U.S. specializing in containerized cargo and the second largest steamship line in the world, MSC is a linchpin for our industry, David Schlenger, NY-NJ FFFBA president, said in announcing the award.
