Waltham, Mass.-based supply chain management company ModusLink Global Solutions has named John J. Boucher, 53, president and CEO, effective Jan. 28.
Boucher has more than 30 years of supply chain management experience. He joins ModusLink from Symbotic, which provides supply network automation solutions for warehouses and distribution centers, where he served as chief commercial officer and chief operating officer. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2010, he served in executive positions at supply chain management company Celestica. He began his career at Digital Equipment, where he worked for 17 years.
Boucher also currently serves on the consumer and electronics advisory board of Nypro, a solutions provider in the field of manufactured precision plastic products.
