MIQ Logistics has opened a new facility in Laredo, Texas, to serve the cross-border supply chain.
“Businesses are considering near-sourcing strategies with Mexico as a way to lower their total landed costs, while making their supply chains more nimble,” said John Carr, president and CEO of MIQ Logistics, in a written statement.
The Laredo operations will be under the leadership of Salvador “Sal” Beattie.
