Menlo Worldwide Opens Singapore Warehouse

San Mateo, Calif.-based Menlo Worldwide Logistics, a subsidiary of Con-way, today opened a new warehousing and retail distribution management center in Singapore.

The 37,000 square meter (about 398,265 square foot) center increases the company’s footprint in the Southeast Asian country to seven facilities totaling about 2.1 million square feet. It represents an investment of 50 million Singapore dollars (approximately US$ 40.7 million) by Menlo and its development partner, Second Development.

The company serves more than 100 Singapore businesses and multinational companies in sectors such as automotive, high tech, consumer goods, industrial, aerospace and wine and spirits distribution.
