North American customs broker Livingston International has acquired New Orleans-based MBLX and MBLX Resources, according to Peter Luit, Livingston’s president and CEO.
MBLX, a barge freight handling and forwarding business, is affiliated with M.G. Maher and Co., which was acquired by Livingston International in April 2012.
MBLX will become a division of Livingston’s international freight forwarding business, and will be led by David Schulingkamp, former Maher and MBLX president, who is now Livingston’s senior vice president of international freight forwarding.
