Logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel International AG’s board of directors today appointed Detlef Trefzger as the newest member of the management board, effective March 1, 2013.
Trefzger will take over global responsibility for the business unit Contract Logistics. He succeeds Dirk Reich, who stepped down today and will be available to the chairman for special tasks until further notice. Until March 1, 2013, Reinhard Lange, the company’s CEO, will assume responsibility for the unit.
Trefzger was a member of the executive board of Schenker AG in Essen, Germany, from 2004 to October 2012.
