Hellmann Worldwide Logistics

Osnabrück, Germany-based Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is No. 21 on JOC’s list of the Top 40 Global 3PLs, with estimated logistics-related revenue of $3.6 billion in 2013. The company employs 11,684 individuals in 245 offices and 56 countries, and it has a network of partners that allow it to reach 157 nations around the world.

Europe accounts for more than half of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics’ revenue and is also home to the majority of its employees. Air, sea, and road freight shipment and forwarding each represent slightly more than a quarter of Hellmann’s revenue, with other services like employee training, contract logistics, and supply chain management making up the difference.

In 2013, Hellmann Worldwide added 949 jobs, an increase of roughly 8 percent. Hellmann also added employees in 2010, 2011, and 2012.
