Globe Express Services has opened Dammam Terminal Yard, located at the Dammam Sea Port Zone on the Persian Gulf in Saudi Arabia, complementing the logistics provider’s two existing facilities in Riyadh and Jiddah, serving the nation’s central region.
The 23,000-square-meter (about 247,570-square-foot) facility includes an open storage area, warehouses and office buildings that will house Dammam management and the transportation division.
GES invested over $2 million for the construction of the terminal yard and nearly $3 million to increase its fleet of trucks and trailers, acquire new handling equipment and expand staff.
