Globe Express Services has appointed Oliver Huber as president of its North America business, effective March 18.
Huber, who currently resides in Charlotte, N.C., where the logistics company’s headquarters is located, will assume responsibility for the U.S. and Canada operations, reporting to Michael C. Hughes, GES president and CEO.
For the past 17 years, Huber has worked with UTi Worldwide, where he most recently served as vice president of the Southeast and Caribbean region and as a member of the company’s global ocean procurement committee for carrier selection. He originally joined the industry in an air freight operations and route management role with Lufthansa.
