Logistics provider Globe Express Services has appointed Michael C. Hughes as president and CEO, and member of the board of directors, effective Dec. 1.
Current CEO Ziad Korban will remain an active board member and owner.
When Hughes joins GES, he will work with the board and leadership team to review and identify the best approaches for growth, with a primary focus on optimizing the company’s core business, the company said.
Hughes held several leadership positions during 14 years of work at KPMG. Before that, he spent 23 years at The Coca-Cola Company in roles of increasing responsibility.
