Echo Global Logistics has appointed Michael Reed, its interim chief technology officer, as the official CTO. He has served as interim CTO since April 2012.
Reed began his tenure with the Chicago-based transportation and supply chain management company in 2007 as a lead application developer, and has held several positions since then, including director of product development and vice president of information technology. Prior to joining Echo Global Logistics, Reed cofounded Digerati Solutions, a software development company.
He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from the University of Michigan.
