Logistics company DHL Supply Chain today appointed Jeroen van Oekel as vice president of business development for automotive, engineering and manufacturing sectors in the Asia-Pacific region, succeeding Suzie Mitchell, who was recently appointed country manager for the Philippines.
Mitchell succeeds Olive Ramos and will report to Oscar de Bok, CEO of South and Southeast Asian operations. She will steer growth in warehousing, transportation and value-added supply chain services across the archipelago. She has 15 years of experience in the logistics industry.
Based out of Shanghai, van Oekel will report to David Christmas, senior vice president of business development in the Asia-Pacific region. He has 15 years of experience in the automotive sector.
