Chemical transportation company ChemLogix launched a freight brokerage service this week, CapAssure LX, as part of their capacity management program, to address continuing capacity shortages.
The service offers Web-based systems for coordinating, managing and tracking shipments, including drayage; liquid and dry bulk; over the road, refrigerated and intermodal dry van truckload; and flatbeds, step downs and double drops.
Small and mid-sized chemical companies in particular can use the service to gain access to a network of carriers, logistics partners with chemical shipping expertise, tracking systems, visibility and coverage, said John Danielsen, the company’s director of brokerage and rail operations.
