C.H. Robinson reported its profit in the third quarter was $116.33 million, up 1.7 percent year-over-year from $114.35 million in 2011.
Profit in the first nine months of 2012 was $337.41 million, rising 4.7 percent from $322.40 million last year.
Quarterly revenue was $2.88 billion, an increase of 6.9 percent from 2011’s third quarter figure of $2.69 billion. Revenue from January to September was $8.39 billion, jumping 8.0 percent year-over-year from $7.77 billion in the same period last year.
Quarterly ocean net revenue increased 3.5 percent, truck rose 2.1 percent and other logistics services went up 16.6 percent. Air revenue decreased 9.0 percent ,and intermodal fell 4.4 percent.
