Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Sept. 3, 2013) — C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc., one of the world’s largest logistics companies, announced today that it has completed the rebranding process of Apreo Logistics S.A., which will continue under the name C.H. Robinson. The rebranding process started after C.H. Robinson acquired the leading Polish freight forwarder in September 2012.

Founded in June of 2007, Apreo provides truckload services including dry van, temperature controlled and liquid and dry bulk capabilities. To complement their truckload offering, the company also offers additional warehouse, air and ocean services.

Apreo adds over 300 employees and more than 2,000 customers to C.H. Robinson’s portfolio which services over 42,000 customers through a network of more than 275 offices and over 11,000 employees around the world.

“This successful integration expands C.H. Robinson's presence in Europe and supports our goals to strengthen our capabilities in our core business and further diversify our modal offering, both of which benefit our European and global customer base,” said Bryan Foe, president of C.H. Robinson Europe.

C.H. Robinson established an initial presence in Europe 20 years ago through partial ownership of Transeco, a motor carrier in France. In that time, the company has built a network of 51 offices and has over 1,000 employees throughout Europe to become one of the leading freight forwarders in the region. Since July 2012, C.H. Robinson has named Bryan Foe president of its European operations, acquired Apreo and opened offices in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and Istanbul, Turkey.
