North American intermodal company Celtic International has hired Steven Golich as president.
Golich will report to Rich Hyland, the former president, who will remain at Celtic as CEO and as a board member of Transplace, which merged with Celtic in 2011. The position changes will allow Hyland to focus on strategic initiatives for the combined companies.
Prior to his role at Celtic, Golich served as senior vice president and general manager of Alliance Shippers. He also served as vice president, general manager and co-owner of Selective Distribution. Prevoiusly, he was president of Acme Motor Freight and The Nu-Trans Companies, both based in Chicago.
