CaroTrans has added a new weekly less-than-containerload export service from San Francisco to Japan.
Transit time from San Francisco to Tokyo is 12 days; to Yokohama is 13 days; and to Osaka, Nagoya and Kobe is 17 days.
There is no transshipment via Busan, South Korea, or additional handling via Los Angeles.
The first sailing is Jan. 29.
