CaroTrans Adds Four Services From China to Chile

CaroTrans today announced four new less-than-containerload direct services from China, including Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen and Hong Kong; to Valparaiso, Chile.

Consolidation and deconsolidation services are provided by CaroTrans’ local offices. The company has an office in Santiago, Chile, as well as seven local offices in China, in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Xiamen.

The company supports the growing trade lane between South America and China, CEO Greg Howard said.

“These four new import services are the first stage in our development of direct China services to South America,” said Raul Katz, CaroTrans’ Latin America manager.
