MIQ Logistics is expanding its less-than-containerload consolidation service, offering weekly LCL service from Istanbul, Turkey, to New York.
The third-party logistics company will consolidate LCL shipments from the Near East and Eastern Europe in Istanbul and deconsolidate them in New York.
The new weekly LCL service from Turkey complements the expansion of MIQ Logistics’s existing origin consolidation service earlier this week.
That global service helps importers manage multiple overseas vendors, cargo consolidation and shipping, the Overland Park, Kans.-based 3PL said.
In January, the company, formerly part of YRC Worldwide, opened a logistics center in The Netherlands to support its European Union logistics corridor.
