Committee to Discuss Trade Facilitation

The Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of U.S. Customs and Border Protection will meet on May 6.

The agenda includes discussions of trade facilitation, import safety, the World Customs Organization, intellectual property rights, and the importer.

The May meeting will be COAC’s first public session of the current two-year term. Members met in a closed session for indoctrination in February.

The meeting will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Ronald Reagan International Trade Building in Washington.
