The value of India’s exports increased 11.6 percent year-over-year in July, according to India’s Ministry of Commerce. This was the largest increase since October 2011, and was preceded by two months of declines.

The number of containers of toys imported through U.S. ports increased 1.4 percent in the first quarter of 2013. This is only the second year-over-year increase in the past eight quarters, the other being a 2.4 percent increase in third quarter 2012.
