What is JOC Membership?

Why can't I read the entire article?

Certain content on the JOC Web site is for JOC members only. The lock icon indicates when this content is for members. Members must log in first to access gated content (please note - the lock icon will still be visible after login but will not affect access)

How do I become a member?

Click on the Join JOC link in the top right corner of the Web site or go to www.joc.com/member-services to register.

I am a member. How do I login?

Click on the Member Log In link (located in the upper right corner) and enter your member email address and password (case sensitive). Make sure you check the "Remember Me" box so you don't have to login every visit. If you do not remember your password, click on the Forgot Password? link (under Member Log In) to request a new password. If the email does not arrive promptly, check your spam filters. This email will come from thankyou@halldata.com (please add this domain to your approved email sender list).

How do I change my password?

After login, click on your screen name in the upper right corner to update your member profile (all fields can be edited including password and email address). If you did not assign a screen name, this field will default to your email address.

Where can I find my account number?

Log in and click on your screen name to view your member profile and account number.

My company has a group membership but I can't login.

You should have received a welcome email with your group information. If you did not receive that, please check your spam filter or contact us – email: joc@halldata.com or call 1-877-675-4761 (Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm CST).

Are webcasts free for JOC members?

The free member webcasts are identified as a "JOC Member Advantage". For more information about webcasts go to www.joc.com/webcasts

How do I sign up for FREE JOC Email Newsletters?

Click on the Free Newsletters link in the upper right corner or visit this page.

How do I unsubscribe from the JOC Email Newsletters?

Click on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the  Email Newsletter or send a request to joc@halldata.com.

How do I post a comment on joc.com?

Login is required to post comments. If you are a member or registered to receive free newsletters, click on the login link located right below article. Your screen name and date of post will automatically be included at the end of your comment.

How do I use the Share This feature?

Click on the "Share This" icon to email an article or automatically post on social networking sites (such as Facebook or Twitter) or to quickly add to your bookmarks.

Is there an RSS feed available?

Yes, go to www.joc.com/news/rss for a complete list

Where are the jobs?

JOC Magazine

How do I access the JOC Magazine archives?

Members must first login then go to www.joc.com/magazine-archives to access the Digital Edition archives and special issues including The Directory of Transportation, Top 100 Importers & Exporters, Annual Trucking Guide, Annual Review & Outlook, Cool Cargoes etc.

When will I get my digital edition?

Please add JournalofCommerceDigitalMagazine@joc-news.com to your preferred sender white list. Emails are sent out on Friday afternoons (every two weeks) to alert members that their latest digital edition is available and ready for download through the link provided (login is required). Once logged in, click on the ? button for helpful tips on how to navigate!

I think I'm missing a print issue, how do I request a back issue?

The Journal of Commerce magazine is published bi-weekly. The editorial schedule can be found online at http://www.joc.com/editorial-calendar. All issues are available in the Digital Edition magazine archives online at http://www.joc.com/magazine-archives (requires membership login). If you need to request a print edition back issue, please contact joc@halldata.com
