The WACO-System named Richard Charles as its new executive director, as the nonprofit network of freight forwarders gained five new members.
Charles joined the board WACO from DB Schenker Logistics, where he was vice president of sales and key account management for Europe, the Mideast and Africa, and member of the European management organization.
The London-based global freight forwarder network garnered new members in Greece, Argentina, Bahrain, Costa Rica, and Belarus as it prepares to celebrate 40 years in business.
WACO has members in more than 92 countries that handle more than 1.85 million shipments a year.
