Border Truck Traffic Up 1.7 Percent Last Year

Commercial truck crossings into the U.S. from Canada and Mexico increased 1.7 percent to 10.4 million last year, the Transportation Department said.

The increase followed a 9.4 percent rise in 2010 after two years of decline during the recession years of 2008 and 2009.
