Factory Orders Fell 5.2 Percent in August

Factory orders for manufactured goods for the month of August were down 5.2 percent or $24.9 billion from the previous month to $452,806 billion, the U.S Census Bureau reported.

The drop followed a 2.6 percent increase in July. This is the biggest decline in more than three years.
