NYK Logistics Americas said today it has opened its newest reverse Logistics facility in Spartanburg, S.C. to handle returns of merchandise from retail customers in the area.
The new warehouse in Duncan, S.C. encompasses 100,000 square feet with 10 doors and is fully secured with fenced yard and camera surveillance. The warehouse staff includes seven full-time employees.
NYK Logistics said reverse logistics has become a vital piece of many major retailers’ supply chains.
NYK said its Reverse Logistics Division has pioneered new ways to find continued value through refurbishment, remarketing, recycling and other value-add services.
