Damco Names New Latin America CEO

Damco, the logistics arm of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, appointed Humberto Florez to head up the company’s business in Latin America, effective April 1.

Florez joins Damco after a10-year tenure with DHL Supply Chain, where he occupied a number of senior management positions of global and regional scope.

Florez, who is a native of South America, also worked for FedEx Logistics, United States Lines, and Sea-Land, where he held the responsibility for operations in the Latin America and Caribbean regions.
