Canadian business leaders are optimistic about their financial prospects in 2013, despite economic uncertainty, according to a quarterly survey of Canadian businesses commissioned by UPS Canada and conducted by Leger Marketing.
The survey found that three in five business leaders believe they will see more revenue in 2013 than they did in 2012, and 57 percent expect at least moderate growth in Canada’s economy.
Economic confidence has increased “substantially” since the first quarter of 2012, when only 45 percent of businesses felt they would see growth over the next quarter, compared with 63 percent at the end of 2012. Confidence has also increased since the third quarter of 2012, when 54 percent of businesses predicted growth.
