DAMCO Renews Petco Contract As Customs Brokerage Provider
Madison, New Jersey, November 29, 2010 – Damco, a global leader in freight forwarding and supply chain solutions has renewed its contract with PETCO, a leading pet specialty retailer with more than 1,000 stores nationwide, as the company’s exclusive customs brokerage solutions provider in North America.
Under the contract, Damco will handle PETCO’s brokerage at all US import ports for four of the company’s ten national distribution centers.
Damco, with its network of offices across the U.S., high number of licensed customs brokers and extensive experience in the regulatory environment, is well-positioned to provide seamless service and to improve the reliability of PETCO’s supply chain processes while delivering a high level of service.
