CSCMP Partners with Leading Universities to Offer Executive Education Programs
Lombard, Illinois USA (February 18, 2010)—In conjunction with the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals’ (CSCMP) educational mission, the organization partners with the academic community to cosponsor a wide variety of supply chain management-related programs.
CSCMP has been cosponsoring events with academic institutions and other professional organizations for over four decades. Programs range from one-day events to five-day executive development courses, covering a broad range of topics such as supply chain management, lean logistics, warehousing and distribution, inventory planning and management, supply chain integration, and vested outsourcing.
“Professionals working in all facets of the supply chain will benefit from these high-quality programs,” said Kathleen Hedland, CSCMP’s director of education and research. “Participants will gain more knowledge and skills as well as be exposed to innovative ideas and solutions to today’s business challenges. CSCMP recognizes the significant value that executive development programs provide, which is why we are continuously seeking ways to support the supply chain community with world-class educational offerings.”
CSCMP is currently cosponsoring events with Georgia Tech Supply Chain & Logistics Institute, Michigan State University, The Pennsylvania State University, the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Universidad De Piura in Peru, and The University of Tennessee.
