ODFL’s Congdon Seeks Bigger, Longer Trucks (Video)

Old Dominion Freight Line President and CEO David S. Congdon wants Congress to lift its ban on trucks exceeding 80,000 pounds and allow states to permit more triple-trailer rigs on U.S. highways.

Congdon spoke at the February 2011 conference on “Freight in the Southeast,” held in Charlotte, N.C., by the Institute for Trade and Transportation Studies.
