Hub CEO Yeager tells Journal of Commerce Associate Editor John Boyd that he expects this year’s peak season to follow a more traditional and moderate pattern than last year’s congested buildup. He also says more domestic 53-ft. containers are available than in 2010 as Hub and its railroad partners have added boxes.
But Yeager expects the economy to perk up in coming months, and says domestic container availability can tighten when traffic hits the busiest time of year.
