Yusen Logistics Begins Shanghai-UK LCL Service

Yusen Logistics this week launched a weekly less-than-containerload service from Shanghai to Southampton, U.K., as the forwarder builds on a similar service from England to Singapore.

Through the Japanese company’s consolidation facility, which has customers clearance available daily, delivery of shippers’ freight is speedy and secure, Yusen said. The forwarder’s new direct service also provides shippers' full visibility of their cargo in transit and delivery through a fleet of GPS-monitored vehicles.
