Help Rebuild New Orleans!
The Breakbulk Transportation Conference &
Exhibition is offering attendees the opportunity
to help rebuild some of the homes and areas in
New Orleans that were devastated by Hurricane
Katrina. The event will take place
on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008.
Volunteers can work all day or a half day. We are
looking for volunteers to perform light carpentry,
painting and landscaping in devastated
neighborhoods. Buses will transport volunteers
to and from the job site. Lunch will be provided by the Port of New Orleans
and disposable clothing
will be the best attire. All materials and tools will
be furnished on the job site. We recommend you
bring your own work gloves.
