BIll Zollars thought buying up your competition and dovetailing them into your operations was a good idea, too, about 10 years ago. Ask him how that worked out for him. These MBA's get dumber every day. The key to a profitable company is meeting your customers needs CONSISTENTLY AND RELIABLY! If you don't do that, you'll go broke. Simple as that. YRC has never learned that simple concept. They think cutting costs is the one and only key to profitability. Never has been, never will be. Welch needs to get out of his ivory tower and work a dock and drive a truck for a month.
