Long Live the greastest union in these United States of America. Long Live the International Longshoremens Association. What has this Union done for me? It has allowed me to purchase a home, put my son through college; the benefits gained from Collective Bargaining paid for my wife's cancer procedure when she was ill, it afforded me the luxury of being able to take my son to Arlington to watch the Yankees and Red Sox play the Rangers when they were in town. The list goes on and on. All of this, for a guy with just 1 year of college. Been in the industry for 25 years and I enjoyed every minute of it, wouldn't want to do anything else. Nobody wants war, but if we have to go to war to survive, so be it. To all my Brothers and Sisters in the ILA, be strong, and keep your hand in God's hand. The Lord has always been in our midst when we come together at our Meetings and Conventions, we acknowledge Him for who he is. I believe He will see us through. So to all my fellow ILA workers, take care and God Bless.
