Amerijet Opens Newark Cargo Facility

NEWARK, N.J., Oct. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Global cargo transportation provider Amerijet International, Inc. is proud to announce the opening of its new 20,000 square-foot freight facility in Newark. The new facility is located at 275 South Street, Newark, N.J. 07114 with convenient access from Route 21 (McCarter Highway), the New Jersey Turnpike, as well as Route 1 and 9.

Amerijet is accepting international air and ocean freight export shipments at this station, including general personal and commercial cargo, hazardous material, large or small packages, barrels, valuable and fragile goods. With direct ground connections to Amerijet's hub at the Miami International Airport, customers will enjoy shorter transit times resulting in faster service.

The new facility is open from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
