The Portuguese government has chosen VINCI Concessions to acquire ANA, which holds 50-year concessions for the country’s 10 airports, subject to approval by antitrust authorities.
ANA’s activities include management of the airport facilities, commercial activities, ground-handling services, safety and security and passenger assistance services. The 10 airports include Lisbon, Porto, Faro and Beja on the mainland; Ponta Delgada, Horta, Flores and Santa Maria in the Azores; and Funchal and Porto Santo in Madeira.
After the acquisition of ANA, VINCI Concessions’ subsidiary VINCI Airports will manage 23 airports in Portugal, France and Cambodia.
The transfer contract is scheduled to be signed in January.
