U.S. refiner prices of kerosene-type jet fuel products continued their third consecutive decline in December, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. This price measures jet fuel products to end-users.
The December 2012 price of $3.01 was down 1.2 percent or 4 cents a gallon from November. The price dropped 8.3 percent or 27 cents a gallon from September. The price of jet fuel was up 1.6 percent or 5 cents a gallon year-over-year.
The EIA noted in its latest release that the December price of kerosene-type jet fuel products fell at both the retail and wholesale levels.
