Dubai International Airport saw volume increase last month as it continued to buck bearish air freight markets.
Dubai handled 202,619 metric tons of cargo in October, up 2.4 percent compared to a year earlier and also higher than the 193,261 metric tons of throughput recorded in September.
In the first 10 months of this year the airport’s freight volume totaled 1.88 million tons, up 3.6 percent year-on-year.
