Changi Airport Group, manager and operator of Singapore Changi Airport, will increase air cargo rebates in the face of continuing air freight headwinds, the company said in a written statement.
For the first six months of 2013, rebates for landing fees at Changi Airport will be raised to 50 percent for all scheduled freighter flights. This additional initiative, valued at S$4.5 million (about US$3.7 million), brings CAG’s total support for the air cargo sector to close to $16.4 million since the start of fiscal year 2012-2013, the company said.
