Cargo volume continues to rise at Dubai International in September.
The Middle Eastern hub and home of Emirates Airline saw freight tonnage rise by 9.1 percent year-on-year to 193,261 metric tons last month. The gain was the airport’s highest monthly increase since October 2010.
In the year through September, Dubai International handled 1,674,997 tons, up 3.7 percent from 1,615,172 tons a year earlier.
Over the same period aircraft movements totalled 253,973, up 6.2 percent year-on-year.
