UPS has named Jeff McCorstin vice president of international air and ocean freight transportation services.
McCorstin will succeed Bob Noonan, who is retiring after 40 years in the freight forwarding industry. Noonan played a key leadership role in the successful integration of Fritz Cos. after UPS acquired that company in 2001, as well as in the growth of freight forwarding within the UPS enterprise.
McCorstin started his UPS career as a delivery driver in 1990. Most recently, he served as managing director of UPS Europe, Middle East and Africa freight forwarding, which included air, ocean and road freight products.
Earlier he served as chief financial officer of UPS EMEA and relocated to Brussels in 2005, where he assumed additional responsibilities with EMEA Strategy and Shared Services.
