Forward Air Corporation, which provides transportation and logistics services to the North American air freight and less-than-truckload market, reported its profit in the fourth quarter of 2012 was $15.96 million, increasing 10.5 percent from $14.45 million in the fourth quarter of 2011.
Quarterly operating revenue increased 4.9 percent year-over-year to $155.53 million from $148.26 million in the same quarter in 2011.
For the full year of 2012, net income was $52.67 million, rising 11.6 percent from $47.20 million in 2011. Annual operating revenue was $584.45 million, up 8.9 percent from $536.40 million.
