FedEx Express Adds Taipei-Memphis Freighter Route

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., is extending cutoff times by two hours for outbound shipments from Taiwan to the U.S., thanks to a new non-stop freighter route between the countries.

A 777 will depart Taipei for the FedEx World Hub in Memphis five days a week, offering the later cutoff time for all shipments to U.S. non-West Coast destinations Monday to Friday.

Extending the cutoff time to 7 p.m. in major cities and industrial zones throughout Taiwan provides customers more time to prepare and manage their exports and supply chains, said Raj Subramaniam, senior vice president of global marketing.
